Sujeet Kumar (actor)
Sujit Kumar (7 February 1934 – 5 February 2010) was an Indian actor and producer. He appeared in over 150 Hindi films in the 1960s through the 1990s, and in at least 20 Bhojpuri cinema, Bhojpuri films. Sujit played the major lead actor in many films in Bhojpuri cinema whereas in Hindi films he played pivotal roles either as a villain or as a character actor. One of his most memorable screen appearances was of a friend playing the mouth organ while driving a jeep as Rajesh Khanna's character serenades Sharmila Tagore in the 1969 film ''Aradhana (1969 film), Aradhana''. Beginning in the late 1980s through the 2000s, Sujit primarily was a film producer. ''Aan Milo Sajna'' () is a 1970 Hindi-language musical drama film written by Sachin Bhowmick, produced by Jagdish Kumar and directed by Mukul Dutt. The film stars Rajesh Khanna and Asha Parekh in the lead roles and the supporting cast included Vinod Khanna, Rajendra Nath and Nirupa Roy. The music is by Laxmikant Pyarelal with lyrics by Anand Bakshi. The film became a super hit at the box office and the song "Acha to Hum Chalte Hain" was a phenomenon. ''Dharam-Veer'' is a 1977 Hindi-language period action-drama film, directed by Manmohan Desai, produced by Subhas Desai under the Mehboob Studios and R.K. ''Jugnu'' () is a 1973 Indian Hindi-language action heist film produced and directed by Pramod Chakravorty.
