Sujan Sakhi

Plot Lokhman, his wife and their son Sujan live with his step mother, step brother Solaiman and his pregnant wife whom Lokhman and his wife detest. However, the step family regards them as their own and his step mother and Solaiman love Sujan a lot. Lokhman and his wife later throw them out of his house with Solaiman giving his wealth share to Sujan. Solaiman and his family start their new life however, his wife dies after giving birth to their daughter Sakhi which heartbreaks him more. The Bangladeshi Cinema, better known as Dhallywood ( bn, ঢালিউড), is the Bengali-language film industry based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It has often been a significant film industry since the early 1970s. The dominant style of Bangladeshi cinema is melodramatic cinema, which developed from 1947 to 1990 and characterizes most films to this day. Cinema was introduced in Bangladesh in 1898 by the Bradford Bioscope Company, credited to have arranged the first film release in Bangladesh. Between 1913 and 1914, the first production company, Picture House, was opened. A 1928 short silent film titled ''Sukumari'' () was the first Bengali-produced film in the region. Khan Ataur Rahman
Khan Ataur Rahman (known as Khan Ata; 11 December 1928 – 1 December 1997) was a Bangladeshi film actor, director, producer, screenplay writer, music composer, and singer, best known for his role in the film ''Jibon Theke Neya'' (1970). He received the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Screenplay for the films ''Sujon Sokhi'' (1975) and ''Danpite Chhele'' (1980). He was awarded Ekushey Padak posthumously in 2003 by the Government of Bangladesh. Andrew Kishore Kumar Baroi (widely known as Andrew Kishore, 4 November 1955 – 6 July 2020) was a Bangladeshi playback singer. He is considered as the "Playback King" of Bangladesh music industry who sang more than 15 thousands songs. He sang for more than 100 Bangladeshi films. Rathindranath Roy is a Bangladeshi musician. He was a performer in Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra. Roy sang Bhawaiya songs from the Rangpur area. He is also a playback singer. He has won awards like BACHSHASH (Bangladesh Cine Journalists Society) Award in 1979 and 1981, and Ekushey Padak in 1994. Sabina Yasmin (born 4 September 1953) is a Bangladeshi singer. She is best known as a playback singer in Bengali cinema. She has won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer a record 14 times. She has recorded more than 1,500 songs for films and over 10,000 songs in total. Nilufar Yasmin (13 February 1948 – 10 March 2003) was a Bangladeshi singer of Nazrul Sangeet, Rajanikanta Geeti, Dwijendra Geeti and Atul Prasdi genre. Abu Taher ( bn, আবু তাহের) (14 November 1938 – 21 July 1976) was a Bengali military serviceman, who served in the Pakistan Army, and later in BDF. He crossed into India around early August and reported to the Indian authorities. After a week screening at Dehradun, India, Taher reported to Kolkata, Bangladesh Provincial government at 8 Theatre Rd. He was ordered to report to Sector 11 of Mukti Bahini under command of Major Ziaur Rahman, he became the sector commander after him. He served in BDF from end of August to 2 November 1971. Shahriar Chowdhury Emon (19 September 1971 – 6 September 1996) known by his stage name Salman Shah was a Bangladeshi film and television actor. He started his career with the first episode of the television serial ''Pathor Shomoy''. He got breakthrough for his role in the film ''Keyamat Theke Keyamat''. His death in 1996 was ruled as a suicide, a claim that is disputed by his family.
