William Henry Victor Schultz (born January 28, 1997), better known by his stage name Sueco or SuecoTheChild, is an American rapper and singer-songwriter from Los Angeles. He first became known for his 2019 single "Fast", which received platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in July 2022 after going viral on TikTok. His 2021 song "Paralyzed" marked his first entry on both the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and Global 200, also receiving gold certification by the RIAA. He was signed by Atlantic Records after the success of "Fast", and the song later appeared on his major label debut extended play (EP), ''Miscreant'' (2019). In 2021, he guest appeared alongside Fever 333 on Papa Roach's single "Swerve". "Fast" (stylized in all lowercase) is a song by American rapper SuecoTheChild, first released in April 2019 via SoundCloud. It became his breakout hit through gaining traction on the video-sharing app TikTok, following which it was released on May 10, 2019, as the lead single from his second EP ''Miscreant'' (2019). Composition "Fast" is a trap song, containing a siren-like sound in the instrumental. Release and promotion SuecoTheChild uploaded the song to SoundCloud on April 1, 2019. After discovering TikTok's contribution to the popularity of many songs such as "Old Town Road" by Lil Nas X, Sueco made an account and posted a video set to the song.
