''Subnautica'' is a 2018 action-adventure survival game developed and published by Unknown Worlds Entertainment. The player controls Ryley Robinson, a survivor of a spaceship crash on an alien oceanic planet, which they are free to explore. The main objectives are to find essential resources, survive the local flora and fauna, and find a way to escape the planet. ''Subnautica'' was released in early access for Windows in December 2014, macOS in June 2015, and Xbox One in May 2016. The game was released out of early access in January 2018 for macOS and Windows, with versions for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in December 2018. ''Subnautica 2'' is an upcoming Action-adventure game, action-adventure survival game under development by Unknown Worlds Entertainment. It is a sequel to 2018's ''Subnautica'' and the third game in the series after 2021's ''Subnautica: Below Zero''. Tom Jubert
Tom Jubert (born 1985) is a British video game writer and narrative designer. He is best known for his work on many high-profile games, including ''Subnautica'', '' FTL: Faster than Light'', '' The Talos Principle'', and '' The Swapper''. Although he has worked on AAA games, most of his work has been on smaller indie titles. Biography Jubert went to the University of Southampton, where he did one year of computer science before changing majors to English and philosophy, graduating best-in-class in 2007. He also holds an MA in philosophy from King's College London. Panic Button, LLC is an American video game developer based in Austin, Texas. Founded in late 2007, the studio is best known for their ports of AAA video games from other platforms to the Nintendo Switch console. Panic Button also does contract work on other platforms, including 4K updates for PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X. History Panic Button was founded by Craig Galley, D.
