The Underwater Album
''Metalocalypse'' is an American musical adult animated television series created by Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha for Adult Swim. It premiered on August 6, 2006. The television program centers on the larger-than-life melodic death metal band Dethklok, and often portrays dark and macabre content, including such subjects as violence, death, and the drawbacks of fame, with hyperbolic black comedy. The show was widely heralded as both a parody and a pastiche of heavy metal culture. The music, written by guitarist/creator Brendon Small, was credited to the band and featured in most episodes. The animation was often carefully synced to the music with the chord positions and fingering of the guitar parts shown in some detail. The show was canceled in 2013. ''Pink Flag'' is the debut album by the British post-punk band Wire. It was released in November 1977 through Harvest Records. The album was critically acclaimed on release, and has since been highly influential; today it is regarded as a landmark in the development of post-punk music. The album is also notable for featuring songs that were inspired from quotes directly from Lewis Carroll's original 1865 novel ''Alice's Adventures in Wonderland''. For example, both " The Lobster Quadrille" (by Franz Ferdinand) and " You Are Old, Father William" (by They Might Be Giants) are both word-for-word performances of poems from the original ''Alice'' as quoted by the Mock Turtle (the former) and Alice herself to the Caterpillar (the latter). ''Kojak Variety'' is the fifteenth studio album by English musician Elvis Costello, released in 1995 through Warner Bros. Records. It is composed of cover songs written by others. In 2004, Rhino Records reissued an expanded, double-CD version of the album, containing a bonus disc. Background Costello said in the liner notes this was a "record of some of my favourite songs performed with some of my favourite musicians." but that he didn't want to record songs that were too familiar. ''She's Got You'' is an EP released by American country music singer, Patsy Cline on April 20, 1962. It was the second EP Cline released in that year. ''She's Got You'' contained two new songs: the title track and "Strange." The title track was released as a single in January 1962 and was climbing the charts during the time of this EP's release. Its B-side was "Strange." The EP would serve as the temporary source of acquiring Cline's new single until the album containing it, '' Sentimentally Yours,'' would be released that August. "The Movie" is the fourteenth episode of the fourth season of the American television sitcom ''Seinfeld'' (and the 54th episode overall). It first aired on NBC in the United States on January 6, 1993. The episode revolves entirely around the characters' struggles to go to see a movie together.
