Steven Ashworth
Steven Ashworth (born May 1, 2000) is an American basketball player for the Indiana Pacers of the NBA. He played college basketball for the Utah State Aggies and Creighton Bluejays. Early life and high school Ashworth attended Lone Peak High School. He averaged 16.4 points, 7.4 assists, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.1 steals per game as a senior. Ashworth led the team to the Utah 6A state title and was named Utah Valley Boys Basketball Player of the Year as well as first team all-state. He committed to play college basketball at Utah State. College career As a freshman, Ashworth averaged 6.1 points and 2.6 assists per game. He averaged 8.7 points and 3.6 assists per game as a sophomore. Ashworth averaged 16.2 points, 4.5 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game as a junior, earning First Team All-Mountain West Conference honors. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game. VCU Rams Men's Basketball
The VCU Rams men's basketball team is the intercollegiate men's basketball team that represents Virginia Commonwealth University. The Rams joined the Atlantic 10 Conference in the 2012–13 season after previously competing in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA). In 2017, VCU was ranked the 40th most valuable men's basketball program in the country by ''The Wall Street Journal''. The 2025 NBA draft was the 79th edition of the National Basketball Association's (NBA) annual draft. Like the 2024 draft, this draft took place over two nights. The draft consisted of 59 picks as opposed to the full 60 due to the New York Knicks forfeiting a second round pick from a free agency violation in 2022. The first round of the draft took place on June 25, while the second took place on June 26. Both rounds were held at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The Creighton Bluejays, or Jays, are the athletic teams that represent Creighton University, a Jesuit/Catholic University in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. They compete in NCAA Division I in the Big East Conference. Sports sponsored Baseball Creighton's baseball team played its first Big East season in 2014.
