Stephen Shaun Griffiths
The Bradford murders were the serial killings of three women in the city of Bradford, West Yorkshire, England in 2009 and 2010. 43-year-old Susan Rushworth disappeared on 22 June 2009, followed by 31-year-old Shelley Armitage on 26 April 2010 and 36-year-old Suzanne Blamires on 21 May of the same year. The women were all sex workers based in Bradford. Parts of Blamires's body were found in the River Aire in Shipley, West Yorkshire, Shipley, near Bradford, on 25 May. Other human tissue found in the same river was later established to belong to Armitage. No remains of Rushworth were ever found. Stephen Shaun Griffiths, 40, was arrested on 24 May and subsequently charged with killing the three women. After being found guilty, he was sentenced to life imprisonment with a whole life order. Steve Griffiths (footballer)
James Stephen Griffiths (23 February 1914 – 10 June 1998) was an English footballer who played for Halifax Town, Aldershot, Barnsley and York City in the Football League. Career Born in Stairfoot, which was then in the West Riding of Yorkshire, Griffiths played for Ardsley Athletic, Barnsley Main and Thurnscoe Victoria before signing for Chesterfield of the Football League in October 1934. After failing to make any league appearances for Chesterfield, he joined Halifax Town in July 1937. After making 75 appearances and scoring 14 goals in the league, Everton tried to sign him, but he eventually joined Portsmouth for a fee of £750 in June 1939. Due to the outbreak of the Second World War, he was unable to play for them in the First Division, although he was in the team that lost 2–0 to Brentford in the 1942 War Cup Final. Steve Griffiths (born 4 August 1973 in Morecambe, England) is an English born former Scotland A international rugby union player who played for Glasgow Warriors - then known as Glasgow Caledonians - at the Lock position. Steven Paul Griffiths (born 25 May 1962) is a former Australian politician. He was a member of the South Australian House of Assembly from 2006 to 2018, representing the electorate of Goyder for the Liberal Party. He was the Deputy leader of the opposition under Isobel Redmond from 2009 to 2010. Biography Griffiths was elected to the safe Liberal seat of Goyder at the 2006 state election to replace retiring sitting member John Meier. Griffiths was elected with a margin of 9.1 points, suffering a 7.1-point swing.
