Lacerta
Lacerta is one of the 88 modern constellations defined by the International Astronomical Union. Its name is Latin for lizard. A small, faint constellation, it was defined in 1687 by the astronomer Johannes Hevelius. Its brightest stars form a "W" shape similar to that of Cassiopeia, and it is thus sometimes referred to as 'Little Cassiopeia'. It is located between Cygnus, Cassiopeia and Andromeda on the northern celestial sphere. The northern part lies on the Milky Way. Notable features Lacerta is typical of Milky Way constellations: no bright galaxies, nor globular clusters, but instead open clusters, for example NGC 7243, the faint planetary nebula IC 5217 and quite a few double stars. Ascalabus (Ancient Greek: Ἀσκάλαβος), in Greek mythology, was a son of Misme (mythology), Misme. Mythology When Demeter, on her wanderings in search of her daughter Persephone who had been abducted by Hades, came to Misme in Attica, the goddess was received kindly, and being exhausted and thirsty, Misme gave her something to drink (a kykeon). As the goddess emptied the vessel at one draught, Ascalabus laughed at her, and ordered a whole cask to be brought. Demeter, indignant at the boy's conduct, sprinkled the few remaining drops from her vessel upon him and thereby changed him into a gecko. Stellio Lorenzi (7 May 1921 – 25 September 1990) was a French screenwriter. His father was from Sanremo. He was a communist. Early years Stellio Lorenzi was born in Paris to an Italian father from Sanremo. He spent his childhood and adolescence in Cannes then moved to the capital. Stelio Zupancich (born April 7, 1958) is a Canadian former ice hockey player. He represented Canada at the 1980 Winter Olympics held in Lake Placid, where he scored one goal and three assists in six games.
