Stellantis N.V. is a multinational automaker formed in 2021 through the merger of the Italian–American conglomerate Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and the French PSA (Peugeot S.A.) Group. The company's headquarters is in Hoofddorp, Netherlands. In February 2025, Stellantis was the world's fifth-largest automaker by sales volume, trailing Toyota, Volkswagen Group, Hyundai Motor Group, and Renault Nissan Alliance, according to industry reports. Hoofddorp
Hoofddorp (; ) is the main town of the municipality of Haarlemmermeer, in the province of North Holland, the Netherlands. In 2021, the population was 77,885. The town was founded in 1853, immediately after the Haarlemmermeer had been drained. History After the draining of the Haarlemmermeer, two villages, Kruisdorp (Crossvillage) and Venneperdorp (Vennepervillage), were founded in the centre of the polder. In 1868, they were renamed to Hoofddorp, as there already was another Kruisdorp in Zeeland, and Nieuw-Vennep respectively. Hoofddorp became more prosperous than Nieuw-Vennep, and it rapidly became the most important place of the district. DS Automobiles is a French Luxury car, luxury-Premium segment, premium marque created in 2009. Formerly part of Automobiles Citroën, Automobiles Citroën S.A., DS has been a standalone brand ultimately owned by PSA Group, later Stellantis. The independent DS marque was created in 2014 from the former ''DS'' Brand#Subbranding, subbrand and line of models of Citroën cars made since 2009, although it had been separated from Citroën in Asia since 2012. Stellantis Heritage (formerly FCA Heritage) is a department established to protect and promote the historic legacy –both automotive and archival– of the Italian brands Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Lancia and Abarth.
