Stadionul Municipal Sibiu (2022)
Sibiu Municipal Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Sibiu, Romania. FC Hermannstadt is the ground's tenant. The facility will also be used for a variety of other activities such as track and field and events. The stadium was inaugurated on December 10th, 2022, when the local team from Sibiu, FC Hermannstadt played against the Liga 1 1st placed team, FCV Farul Constanța, trained by Romanian superstar Gheorghe Hagi. Asociația Fotbal Club Hermannstadt (), commonly known as FC Hermannstadt, Hermannstadt or familiarly as Sibiu (), is a Romanian professional football club based in the city of Sibiu (german: Hermannstadt), Sibiu County, which currently competes in Liga I. The Liga I (; ''First League''), also spelled as Liga 1, is a Romanian professional league for men's association football clubs. Currently sponsored by betting company Superbet, it is officially known as the SuperLiga. It is the country's top football competition, being contested by 16 clubs which take part in a promotion and relegation system with the Liga II. The teams play 30 matches each in the regular season, before entering the championship play-offs or the relegation play-outs according to their position in the regular table. FCV Farul Constanța (), commonly known as Farul Constanța or simply as Farul, is a Romanian professional football club based in the city of Constanța, Constanța County, which currently plays in the Liga I.
