FC Hermannstadt
Asociația Fotbal Club Hermannstadt (), commonly known as FC Hermannstadt, Hermannstadt, or familiarly as Sibiu (), is a Romanian professional Association football, football Club (organization), club based in the city of Sibiu, Sibiu County, that competes in the Liga I. The team was founded in 2015 and entered the Liga IV, fourth division, with ''Hermannstadt'' being the equivalent of the city's name in the standard German language (i.e. Standard German, Hochdeutsch). Nicknamed ''Roș-negrii'' ("the Red-Blacks"), they achieved successive promotions and reached the Liga I, the top tier of the Romanian football league system, Romanian league system, in 2018. Sibiu Municipal Stadium
The Sibiu Municipal Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Sibiu, Romania. FC Hermannstadt is the ground's tenant. The facility will also be used for a variety of other activities such as track and field and events. The stadium was inaugurated on December 10, 2022, when the local team from Sibiu, FC Hermannstadt played against the Liga I, Liga 1 1st placed team, FCV Farul Constanța, trained by Romanian superstar Gheorghe Hagi. Clubul Sportiv Balotești, commonly known as CS Balotești or simply as Balotești, is a Romanian football club from Balotești, Ilfov County founded in 2006. At the end of the 2013–14 Liga III season, the team gained promotion to Liga II, for the first time in their history. The Liga 2, most commonly spelled as Liga II, is the second level of the Romanian football league system. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07 Liga II, 2006–07 football season.
