The third and final season of South Korean survival thriller television series ''Squid Game'', marketed as ''Squid Game 3'' and created for television by South Korean writer and television producer Hwang Dong-hyuk, was released on Netflix on June 27, 2025. Hwang Dong-hyuk (; born May 26, 1971) is a South Korean film director, producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for creating the Netflix survival drama series ''Squid Game'' (2021–present) and the crime drama film ''Silenced'' (2011).
