''Spyder'' is the soundtrack to the 2017 Telugu-language psychological action thriller film of the same name directed by A. R. Murugadoss and produced by N. V. Prasad, starring Mahesh Babu, S. J. Suryah and Rakul Preet Singh. The film's music is composed by Harris Jayaraj and featured six songs for the Telugu version with lyrics written by Ramajogayya Sastry and five songs for the Tamil version which had lyrics by Madhan Karky. The soundtrack for both versions were released by Zee Music Company on 9 September 2017. Development In January 2016, it was announced that Harris Jayaraj would compose the film's music and background score. The film marked Jayaraj's fourth collaboration with Murugadoss after '' Ghajini'' (2005), ''7 Aum Arivu'' (2011) and ''Thuppakki'' (2012). Recording of the songs commenced in early 2017. ''7 Aum Arivu'' ( ) is a 2011 Indian Tamil-language science fiction action film written and directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin under Red Giant Movies. The film Suriya in dual roles, along with Shruti Haasan (in her Tamil debut) and Johnny Trí Nguyễn (in his Indian film debut). Harini (singer)
Harini (born 30 April 1979) is an Indian film playback and classical singer born and raised in Chennai. She sings predominantly in Tamil films, besides other language films such as Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi films. She was first noticed by music director A. R. Rahman at a school competition where she was one among the winners. Eventually, she was signed in to record the song "Nila Kaigiradhu" for the film '' Indira'' (1995) when she was 15.
