Spravedlnost (miniseries)
(Slovak: '','' ) is a Czech crime television series. It tells the story of police investigator Richard who investigates the murder of a prominent judge which was committed by his daughter, Lily. The first episode premiered on 12 March 2017. It was directed by Peter Bebjak. Ondřej Vetchý, who stars in the series, collaborated with Bebjak on ''Případy 1. oddělení''. Spravedlnost received the Czech Lion Award for the Best Television Film or Miniseries of 2017. Plot Richard is a police investigator who has not seen his daughter Lily in a very long time. The series starts when Lily shows up at his door and asks for help. She tells him that she has fallen in love with Judge Kowalský, but he attacked her and she killed him in self-defense. Vedlejší produkt (Slovak: ''Vedľajší produkt'' English: ''Side Product'') is a Czech-Slovak psychological crime drama miniseries directed by Peter Bebjak. It deals with the question of whether a murderer exposed by illegal methods should be prosecuted. The series is a thematical successor of Spravedlnost (television miniseries), Spravedlnost. The series is based on real events. Plot Detective Josef from the Ostrava homicide department used illegal procedures to catch a brutal murderer. He was punished by being tasked to do an annual routine review of unsolved murders. This allows him to discovers a case of eighteen-year-old Eva who was strangled twenty years ago in her apartment. There are sixteen days left before the statute of limitations for the murder. Josef and his colleague Michal decide to catch the killer at all cost before the statute expires. Temný kraj (The Dark Country) is a Czech television series that aired on TV Prima in 2017–2019. The main character of the series is a Prague policeman Petr Kraj who specializes in serial murders. He leaves for the countryside to recover after a sudden collapse. Here he meets colleagues from the district department who investigate a complex case of serial murder. The ambiguous name of the series refers not only to the place of its action, but also to the name of the main character. Each serial murder case is divided into two episodes. The first season of the series was broadcast from January to April 2017. It was among the most successful series of Prima in recent years. The average viewership of the twelve episodes was 1.5 million viewers over the age of 15 with a share of 32%.
