Temný Kraj
Temný kraj (The Dark Country) is a Czech television series that aired on TV Prima in 2017–2019. The main character of the series is a Prague policeman Petr Kraj who specializes in serial murders. He leaves for the countryside to recover after a sudden collapse. Here he meets colleagues from the district department who investigate a complex case of serial murder. The ambiguous name of the series refers not only to the place of its action, but also to the name of the main character. Each serial murder case is divided into two episodes. The first season of the series was broadcast from January to April 2017. It was among the most successful series of Prima in recent years. The average viewership of the twelve episodes was 1.5 million viewers over the age of 15 with a share of 32%. Saša Rašilov (born Alexandr Rašilov, 26 July 1972) is a Czech film and stage actor. He studied at the Faculty of Theatre in Prague, later performing on stage at theatres including the Theatre on the Balustrade. Jan Novotný (actor)
Jan Novotný (17 June 1929 – 23 January 2005) was a Czech glass artist, painter and art teacher. Biography Novotný was born in Pustá Polom, Czechoslovakia and studied at the secondary glass school in Kamenický Šenov and from 1952 at the Academy of Applied Arts in Prague in the studio of prof. Josef Kaplický. From 1959, he was an art teacher at the Secondary School of Art Glass in Železný Brod. In the late 1950s and during the 1960s, he won several significant awards – Silver Medal at XI. Triennale Milan, Honorary Prize at Expo 67 in Montreal. He participated regularly in exhibitions of Czechoslovak glass all over the world. In the 1970s and 1980s, his work was negatively influenced by the adverse attitude of the governing communist regime to his person. Tereza Kostková (born 14 June 1976) is a Czech actress and television presenter, daughter of actors Petr Kostka and Carmen Mayerová.
