Sporting Khalsa Football Club are a association football, football club, formed in 1991, members of the , who play their home games at the Aspray Arena in Willenhall, West Midlands (county), West Midlands. Founded by the local Sikh community, they are the first British Asian club to own their own ground, which they bought from Banks's Brewery in 2010 after moving from Abbey Park, the former home of Bloxwich Town F.C., Bloxwich Town. History The team was founded in 1991 and began playing in the Walsall & District Sunday leagues. They played one season in the West Midlands (Regional) League in 1996–97 before leaving after finishing bottom of the league. They later returned in 2004–05 and were promoted after finishing 5th. Willenhall is a market town in the Metropolitan Borough of Walsall, Walsall district, in the county of the West Midlands (county), West Midlands, England, with a population taken at the 2021 United Kingdom census, 2021 Census of 49,587. The Women's FA Challenge Cup is the top annual cup tournament for women's clubs in English football. The 2016–17 FA Vase is the 43rd season of the FA Vase, an annual association football, football competition for teams playing below Step 4 of the English National League System. The competition is to be played with two qualifying rounds preceding the six proper rounds, semi-finals (played over two legs) and final to be played at Wembley Stadium. The 2015–16 FA Cup qualifying rounds opened the 135th season of competition in England for The Football Association Challenge Cup (FA Cup), the world's oldest association football single knockout competition. A total of 736 clubs were accepted for the competition, the same as the previous season.
