Spirit Youth
The Depreciation Guild was an American dream pop and shoegaze band from Brooklyn, New York, formed in 2005 by lead vocalist and songwriter Kurt Feldman and guitarist Adrian Hashizume. Before disbanding, their lineup included Feldman, Christoph Hochheim (who later became the drummer and touring guitarist, respectively, for indie pop band the Pains of Being Pure at Heart), and Anton Hochheim (who later became the touring drummer for the Pains of Being Pure at Heart after Feldman's departure). They were joined for live performances by Raphael Radna on bass guitar. History In 2003, Kurt Feldman started operating the Famicom (NES) that then was heavily incorporated into the music he made with the Depreciation Guild. The band was formed in 2005. Jangle pop is a subgenre of pop rock and college rock that emphasizes jangly guitars and 1960s-style pop melodies. Lucas Nathan (born August 7, 1990), best known by the stage name Jerry Paper, is an American musician, singer, songwriter and producer. They began releasing music in 2009, with their first projects being Zonotope™ and the noise music project Diane Kensington Devotional Band. They subsequently created the persona-based project Jerry Paper, and has been releasing music under the name since 2012. James Dent May Jr. (born May 6, 1985) known by his stage name Dent May, is an American singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles, California, United States. He is mostly associated with psychedelic pop, synthpop, indie rock, and new wave genres of music. Biography May was born in Jackson, Mississippi. Glasslands Gallery (or simply Glasslands) was a music venue, dance club, and art space in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Glasslands was founded by Brooke Baxter and Rolyn Hu in 2006, as a relocation of Baxter's earlier art space in the same building, Glass House Gallery. Hu and Baxter held the lease on the Glasslands space until 2012 when they made a turn-key sale to Rami Haykal and Jake Rosenthal of PopGun presents, who had been managing bookings since 2009, and day-to-day operations since 2010. Oh No Ono was a musical quintet from Aalborg, Denmark. The band was formed in 2003 by Kristoffer Rom (drums), Kristian Olsen (keyboards, etc.), Malthe Fischer (vocals, guitar and samples) and Aske Zidore (guitar, vocals, samples).
