Sonic Forces
is a platform game developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega. It was produced in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' franchise. The story sees Sonic the Hedgehog joining a resistance force to stop Doctor Eggman, who has conquered the world by 99% for three days alongside new villain Infinite, who is transformed by the power of the Phantom Ruby for creating illusionary clone for villains, with the help of Classic Sonic, his self past, and the Rookie, a survivor of Eggman's attack. It features three gameplay modes: "Classic", side-scrolling gameplay similar to the original Sega Genesis ''Sonic'' games; "Modern", 3D gameplay similar to '' Sonic Unleashed'' (2008) and ''Sonic Colors'' (2010); and a mode featuring the "Avatar", the player's custom character. Takahito Eguchi
is a Japanese composer, orchestrator, and musician. He is best known for collaborating with Noriko Matsueda on ''Final Fantasy X-2'' and with Tomoya Ohtani on several ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' games. Eguchi became interested in music when he was six years old after hearing his neighbor playing the piano. He attended the Tokyo Conservatoire Shobi where he acquainted Matsueda. Eguchi worked at Square Enix from 1998 to 2003 and currently works at Sega. He created mostly electronic music in the early part of his career but now focuses on orchestral composition and arrangement, along with performing keyboards. San Diego Comic-Con International is a comic book convention and nonprofit multi-genre entertainment event held annually in San Diego, California since 1970. ''Sonic Mania'' is a 2017 platform game published by Sega for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows. Produced in commemoration of the ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' series' 25th anniversary, ''Sonic Mania'' pays homage to the original Sega Genesis ''Sonic'' games, featuring speedy side-scrolling gameplay. It takes place over 13 levels, including several redesigned from past games. ''Sonic Generations'' is a 2011 platform game developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Windows, and Nintendo 3DS. Produced in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' series, the game follows Sonic the Hedgehog (character), Sonic and his sidekick Tails (character), Tails as they form an alliance with their modern selves.
