Sokratis Xynidis
Sokratis Xynidis (; born 14 June 1963 in Xanthi, Greece) is a Greek politician and former member of the Hellenic Parliament for the Panhellenic Socialist Movement (PASOK). He served as Alternate Minister for Regional Development and Competitiveness (2010–2012) and General Secretary of PASOK under George Papandreou. Early life Sokratis was born on June 14, 1963, in Xanthi. He studied Law at the Democritus University of Thrace. In 2009 he was elected Member of Parliament for Xanthi with PASOK. PASOK Politicians
The Panhellenic Socialist Movement (, ), known mostly by its acronym PASOK (; , ), is a social-democratic political party in Greece. Until 2012 it was one of the two major parties in the country, along with New Democracy, its main political rival. After a decade of poor electoral outcomes, PASOK has retained its position as one of the main Greek political parties and is currently the second largest party in the Greek Parliament. Following the collapse of the Greek military dictatorship of 1967–1974, PASOK was founded on 3 September 1974 as a socialist party. Movement For Change (Greece)
The Gorran Movement (, ''Movement for Change'') or just Gorran (''Change'') is a Kurdish political party in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The party is led by Dana Ahmed Majid, it was formerly under the leadership of Omar Said Ali, and was founded in 2009 by Nawshirwan Mustafa and Qadir Haji Ali.
