The Social Democrats () is a Croatian centre-left political party founded in 2022. The party was preceded by a parliamentary group of the same name that broke away from the Social Democratic Party of Croatia in October 2021. History The party was officially launched on July 9, 2022, and at the time of foundation was the largest opposition force in the Sabor (Croatian Parliament). The party stated they will not go against the initiatives of Croatian Democratic Union that benefit the citizens, and that they do not have plans to be obstructive. Independent Platform Of The North
The Independent Platform of the North (, NPS) is a regionalist political party in Croatia led by Matija Posavec, the prefect of Međimurje County since 2013. Its headquarters is located in Čakovec. Initially founded as an electoral list in March 2021 prior to that year's local elections, it took on its current name in July 2023. The party is positioned on the political centre and seeks to gather independent lists from the region. Valter Flego (born 15 August 1972) is a Croatian politician who was a Member of the European Parliament for Croatia from 2 July 2019 to 15 July 2024. Previously he had served as the 4th prefect of Istria County from 2013 to 2019, as well as serving three terms as mayor of the town of Buzet. He is a member of the liberal Istrian Democratic Assembly (IDS) party. Slobodna Dalmacija

History was first issued on 17 June 1943 by Tito's Partisans in an abandoned stone barn on Mosor, a mountain near Split, while the city was occupied by the Italian army.
