Rondvasshøgde is a mountain ridge in Innlandet county, Norway. The ridge is located in Sel Municipality although one end of the ridge extends across the border into Folldal Municipality. The ridge consists of 3 main peaks: ''Rondvasshøgde Sentraltopp'', ''Rondvasshøgde Øst'', and ''Rondvasshøgde Øst 2''. The mountain lies about northeast of the town of Otta. The mountain is surrounded by several other notable mountains including Veslsvulten to the east, Hornflågene to the southeast, Simlepiggen to the southwest, and Storronden and Svartnuten to the west. Innlandet
Innlandet is a county in Norway. It was created on 1 January 2020 with the merger of the old counties of Oppland and Hedmark (the municipalities of Jevnaker and Lunner were transferred to the neighboring county of Viken on the same date). Rondslottet is the highest mountain in the Rondane mountain range in Innlandet county, Norway. The tall mountain sits on the border between Dovre Municipality and Folldal Municipality, just north of the border with Sel Municipality. There is a trail leading to the summit. Name The first part of the name comes from the word which was probably the original name of the nearby lake Rondvatnet. Many of the mountains near the lake were then named after this lake. Otta, Norway
is a town in Sel Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The town is also the administrative centre of the municipality. The town is located at the confluence of the Gudbrandsdalslågen and Otta rivers. The European route E6 highway runs through the town. The Dovrebanen railway line also passes through the town, stopping at the Otta Station. The town has a population (2021) of 2,283 and a population density of . The town is named after the Otta river.
