Simcha Leiner
Simcha Leiner (born 1989) is an American singer, composer and entertainer in the Contemporary Jewish religious music industry. Career Leiner started singing at weddings in 2008. In 2014, he officially debuted his career with the release of his album ''Pischi Li''. He released his single, Kol Berama. The song was composed by Leiner after the 11 March 2011 massacre in the Israeli settlement of Itamar by Palestinian terrorists. The song was used as the background in Tisha B’Av’s Chofetz Chaim Heritage Foundation’s videos. It was followed by two collaborative albums with Baruch Levine. He then released ''SL2'' in 2015, followed by ''Merakeid'' in 2017, and ''Kol Hakavod'' in 2019. ''Kol Hakavod'' was produced by Leiner himself. In 2022; he released another album called Home. Monsey, New York
Monsey (, ) is a hamlet and census-designated place in the town of Ramapo, Rockland County, New York, United States, north of Airmont, east of Viola, south of New Hempstead, and west of Spring Valley. The village of Kaser is surrounded by the hamlet of Monsey. The 2020 census listed the population at 26,954. The hamlet has a large, and growing, community of Haredi Jews. History Rockland County was inhabited by the Munsee band of Lenape Native Americans, who were speakers of the Algonquian languages. 2011 Itamar Attack
The Itamar attack, * * also called the Itamar massacre, was a terrorist attack on an Israeli family in the Israeli settlement of Itamar in the West Bank that took place on 11 March 2011, in which five members of the same family were murdered in their beds. The victims were the father Ehud (Udi) Fogel, the mother Ruth Fogel, and three of their six children—Yoav, 11, Elad, 4, and Hadas, the youngest, a three-month-old infant. The infant was decapitated. The settlement of Itamar had been the target of several murderous attacks before these killings. Baruch Levine (born December 28, 1977) is a Canadian-born American Orthodox Jewish composer and singer. His tunes have gained wide popularity at Shabbat tables and '' kumzits'' gatherings. One of his most successful compositions is "''Vezakeini''" (Give Us Merit), derived from the ancient prayer recited at Shabbat candle lighting. Early life and education Baruch Levine was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. He attended Eitz Chaim Day School, where his father, Rabbi Michoel Levine, is currently the fifth-grade rebbi (Jewish studies teacher).
