The Simba Union Ground is one of several cricket grounds in Nairobi. It is also the home of Simba Union Cricket Club as well as the home of Cricket Kenya academy. Nairobi
Nairobi ( ) is the capital and largest city of Kenya. The name is derived from the Maasai phrase ''Enkare Nairobi'', which translates to "place of cool waters", a reference to the Nairobi River which flows through the city. Simba Union
Simba is a fictional character and the protagonist of Disney's ''The Lion King'' franchise. Nairobi Gymkhana Club
Nairobi Gymkhana Club is a cricket ground and team in Nairobi, Kenya. It hosted two matches during the 2003 Cricket World Cup. The ground has a capacity of 7,000 people. It is located north of the central business district, but not far from it. The ground is the main cricket venue in the country and the only one which could in any way be described as a major ground. A One Day International (ODI) is a form of limited overs cricket, played between two teams with international status, in which each team faces a fixed number of overs, currently 50, with the game lasting up to 9 hours. The Cricket World Cup, generally held every four years, is played in this format. One Day International matches are also called Limited Overs Internationals (LOI), although this generic term may also refer to Twenty20 International matches. Kenya Cricket Team
The Kenya national cricket team represents the Republic of Kenya in international cricket. Kenya is an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) which has Twenty20 International (T20I) status after the ICC granted T20I status to all of their members. They have been an associate member of the ICC since 1981. Since then they have played in five Cricket World Cups from 1996 to 2011 with their best result being a semi-final appearance at the 2003 Cricket World Cup in Southern Africa. Colin Ellsworth Laurie Stuart (born 28 September 1973) is a Guyanese cricketer, who has played for the West Indies. In six Test matches, Stuart, who was a right-hand batsman, had a batting average of 3.42 average, and as a right-arm, medium-fast bowler, has taken 20 wickets with a 31.39 average. Stuart took part in the only instance in Test cricket history, when three bowlers were used in completing one over. Martin Armon Suji (born 2 June 1971) is a former Kenyan cricketer who played One-Day Internationals for the Kenyan national side between 1996 and 2006.
