Martin Suji
Martin Armon Suji (born 2 June 1971) is a former Kenyan cricketer who played One-Day Internationals for the Kenyan national side between 1996 and 2006. A right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler, his overall international career spanned from 1990 to 2006, and included matches at the 1996, 1999, and 2003 World Cups, as well as at the 1990, 1994, and 1997 ICC Trophies. Suji is the older brother of Tony Suji, who also had a long career for Kenya. The brothers played together at the 1999 and 2003 World Cups. Coaching career Following the departure of Roger Harper after the 2007 ICC World Twenty20, Suji was made assistant coach of the national team, assisting the caretaker Alfred Njuguna (later replaced by Andy Kirsten as full time coach in May 2008). Nairobi ( ) is the capital and largest city of Kenya. The Carlsberg 1997 ICC Trophy was a cricket tournament played in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia between 24 March and 13 April 1997. It was the Cricket World Cup qualification tournament for the 1999 Cricket World Cup. Bangladesh were the winners of the tournament, defeating Kenya in the final, while Scotland won the third place play-off. These three teams took the three available spots in the World Cup, Bangladesh and Scotland both qualifying for this tournament for the first time. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The 2012 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier was played in early 2012 as a part of ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier series. This edition of the qualifier for the 2012 ICC World Twenty20 was an expanded version comprising ten qualifiers from regional Twenty20 tournaments, in addition to the six ODI/Twenty20 status countries. It was staged in the UAE. ICC Associate and Affiliate Members from around the globe had the opportunity to qualify for the ICC World Twenty20 2012 in Sri Lanka. The 2013 ICC World Cricket League Division Three was a cricket tournament which took place from 28 April to 5 May 2013 in Bermuda. It formed part of the ICC World Cricket League and qualifying for the 2015 World Cup. Nepal were the pre-tournament favourites, but they lost against USA and Uganda in their first two matches. On the other hand, USA and Uganda made solid starts. Uganda remained unbeaten in their first four matches to comfortably secure one of the two available places in the 2014 World Cup Qualifier. In the fifth round of the league, three teams remained in contention for the second qualifying spot, USA having won 3 out of 4 and Bermuda & Nepal both having won 2 out of 4. Shukri Conrad
Shukri Conrad (born 2 April 1967) is a South African cricket coach and former player who was appointed Test coach of the South Africa national cricket team in 2023. Conrad played first-class cricket for Western Province teams both before and after the end of racial segregation. He was later a long-serving coach of Cape Cobras and also coached Gauteng and Highveld Lions. He was briefly coach of the Uganda national cricket team from 2010 to 2011 before joining the Cricket South Africa National Academy as head coach in 2014.
