Siddhi Mishra
Siddhi Mishra is the youngest girl in the world and the youngest person from India to have climbed the Everest Base Camp (EBC) in Nepal, which is situated at an altitude of 5364 meters above sea level. Expedition Himalaya awarded her a certificate, and her name was featured in the 2024 India Book of Records. Early life Siddhi was born in the city of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Her mother, Bhawna Dehariya, is also a mountaineer who climbed to the summit of Mount Everest in 2019. She was honored with the Guinness World Records title for promoting and popularizing the Indian Himalayas with the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute on August 15, 2020 (Independence Day). Namche Bazaar (also Namche Bazar, Nemche Bazaar or Namche Baza; ) is a town (formally Namche Village Development Committee) in ward no 5 Khumbu Pasanglhamu Rural Municipality in Solukhumbu District of Koshi Province in northeastern Nepal. Gorakshep
Gorak Shep, also spelled Gorakshep (Nepali: गोरकशेप, गोरक्षेप), is a settlement nestled on the periphery of a frozen lakebed blanketed with sand in Nepal, sharing its name with the locale. Situated at an elevation of 5,164 meters (16,942 feet) near Mount Everest, it remains uninhabited for most of the year, reopening only for the Mount Everest trekking season. Lobuche
Lobuche (also spelt Lobuje) is a Nepalese mountain which lies close to the Khumbu Glacier and the settlement of Lobuche. There are two main peaks, Lobuche East and Lobuche West. A permit to climb the mountain is required from the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), which classifies Lobuche East (6,119m) as a "trekking peak" and Lobuche West (6,145m) as an "expedition peak". The permit is issued by Nepal Mountaineering Association and costs USD $250 during spring, USD $125 during autumn, and USD $70 during winter/summer. Tengboche
Tengboche (or Thyangboche) is a village in Khumbu Pasanglhamu rural municipality in the Khumbu subregion of Province No. 1 in Nepal, located at . Within the village is an important Buddhist monastery, Tengboche Monastery, which is the largest gompa in the Khumbu region. The structure was built in 1923. Phakding
Phakding is a small village in the Khumbu region of Nepal.
