Shidōkan Karate
is an eclectic style of knockdown karate, founded by Yoshiji Soeno. Established in 1978, its governing body is the World Karate Association Shidokan, with its headquarters located in Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Currently, it has branches in 68 countries around the world. Shidokan karate is sometimes described as the "Triathlon of Martial arts", as it encompasses full contact karate, Muay Thai, and grappling-based martial arts. Tournaments are full contact and are normally held in a boxing ring. Jean-Jacques Burnel (born 21 February 1952) is an English musician, producer and songwriter, best known as the bass guitarist and co-lead vocalist with the English rock band The Stranglers. Full contact karate is any format of karate where competitors spar (also called Kumite) full-contact and allow a knockout as winning criterion. Kūdō
is a Japanese hybrid martial art. It is a full-contact combat sport that aims to achieve both safety and practicality, a style of mixed martial arts practised with headgear and gloves. Tsuyoshi Yokoyama (born June 29, 1983), better known as is a Japanese kickboxer who competes in the welterweight division. He comes from a Seidokaikan karate background and is known for his unorthodox kicks. Biography and career Yamamoto began practicing karate at the age of 13. His brother Shingo Yokoyama is also a kickboxer. In 2003 he became the 5th All Japan Seidokaikan Lightweight Champion. He made his professional kickboxing debut on August 16, 2008, when he defeated Marcelo Nascimento by a unanimous decision. Tomasz Kucharzewski (August 13, 1968 – March 8, 2008) was a Polish-Canadian martial artist. Mitsuharu Misawa
was a Japanese amateur and professional wrestler and promoter. He is primarily known for his time in All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW), and also for forming the Pro Wrestling Noah promotion in 2000.
