''Sher Shivraj'' is a 2022 Indian Marathi-language historical action drama film directed by Digpal Lanjekar and produced by Chinmay Mandlekar, Digpal Lanjekar, Nitin Keni, Pradyot Pendharkar and Anil Warkhade. The film based on the life of Maratha king, Shivaji where he defeated Afzal Khan with brilliant tactics and courage stars Chinmay Mandlekar in title role, Mrinal Kulkarni, Ajay Purkar, Mukesh Rishi along with Bipin Surve and Rohan Mankani in supporting roles. The film was released theatrically on 22 April 2022. With the launch of trailer of the film through Metaverse, it became the first Marathi film trailer to be shown through Metaverse technology. Tanaji Malusare
Tanaji Malusare was a warrior and commander of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. A local poet Tulsidas, wrote a powada describing Tanaji's heroics and sacrifice of life in the Battle of Sinhagad, which has since made him a popular figure in Indian folklore. Biography Tanaji came from a Hindu Koli family. Tanaji's father's name was Kaloji Malusare. His family was from Godoli village, which is situated near Pachgani. He spent his childhood there. When Shivaji appointed him to curb robbers of Poladpur, Mahabaleshwar, he then migrated to Umrath village. Tanaji had a son, Rayba Malusare and a brother Suryaji Malusare. Bhavani
Bhavānī (also known as Bhāvya, Tulajā, Turajā, Tvarita, Aṃbā, Jagadambā and Aṃbē) is manifestation of Adi Shakti (Durga). Bhavani translates to "giver of life", meaning the power of nature or the source of creative energy. Netaji Palkar (1620–1681) was a '' Sardar Senapati'' or ''Sarnaubat'' ( Commander-in-Chief) under Chhatrapati Shivaji, founder of the Maratha empire. Family history Netaji Palkar was born in a small village, called Chouk in Khalapur, Maharashtra, India in a Marathi Chandraseniya Kayastha Prabhu family. Fazal Khan Advocate ( ps, فضل خان) is a lawyer, human rights activist, and a leader of the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM). He is also the president of the Army Public School Peshawar Shuhada (Martyrs) Forum. Soyarabai
Soyarabai Bhosale (née Mohite) (died 1681) was one of the eight wives of Shivaji, the founder of Maratha empire in western India. She was mother of Shivaji's second son, Rajaram. She was the younger sister of Maratha army chief Hambirrao Mohite. She was executed in 1681, after she failed to dethrone Sambhaji, her stepson, and the elder son of Shivaji.
