Sheffield Jumpers
The Sheffield Jumpers are a dance troupe and group of musicians from Rotterdam, who practice the jumpstyle type of dancing and music. They are most well known with their performances with German band Scooter. The name "Sheffield Jumpers" came from H.P. Baxxter's own suggestion, because the Jumpers wanted a new identity, and until then were known as the "Scooter Jumpers". They gained popularity in the videos for "The Question Is What Is the Question?", " And No Matches", "Jumping All Over the World" and "Jump That Rock (Whatever You Want)". In August 2008, they released their first single " Jump with Me". The Sheffield Jumpers toured with Scooter during the 2008 Jumping All Over the World Tour, and during Clubland Live 2008. Jumpstyle is an electronic dance music, electronic dance style and music genre popular in Western Europe, originally in Belgium. Jumpstyling is often referred to as "Jumpen": a combination of the English word 'Jump' and the Dutch and German suffix '-en' (meaning "to jump", or "jumping"). It originated in Belgium but gathered bigger popularity in its neighboring country, the Netherlands, in the 2000s. History Jumpstyle, originally known simply as jump, was created in Belgium. It was a short-lived small genre that did not gain popularity in its original form. However, it came back to the public during the turn of the century, and fandom began increasing throughout Europe after undergoing significant changes in Germany in early 2003. ''Jumping All Over the World'' is the thirteenth studio album by German techno group Scooter, released in Germany in 2007. Five singles have been released from it: "The Question Is What Is the Question?", " And No Matches", " Jumping All Over the World", a remix of " I'm Lonely" and a new version of "Jump That Rock!" titled "Jump That Rock (Whatever You Want)" recorded with British rock group Status Quo. The album's original artwork features people performing Jumpstyle. A revised version of the album was released in the UK in 2008, their first album release in that country since '' The Stadium Techno Experience'' in 2003. Clubland is a brand created by the UK dance record labels All Around the World and Universal Music TV. Since 2002 Clubland has made many dance compilation albums, including the popular Clubland series, which ended on the album, Clubland 2017, released on 4 November 2016. Clubland also hosts live events in various nightclubs and clubland Ibiza, and in 2008 many Clubland artists featured on the Clubland Night of Your Life arena tour. The third single " The Sound Above My Hair" was released on 27 November 2009., and " Stuck on Replay", the 4th single from the album is being used as the official theme song of 2010 IIHF World Championship.
