Shayak Dost
Shayak Dost (born 1 May 2002) is a Pakistani professional footballer who plays for WAPDA and the Pakistan national team. Primarily a left winger, Dost can also be deployed as a left midfielder or left wing-back. Club career Lyallpur In 2020 Dost was a member of Lyallpur FC. He made one appearance for the club in the 2020 PFF National Challenge Cup, taking part in its 0–1 defeat to Baloch Quetta. In 2021 he played for local club Balochistan Zorawars in the National Under-23 Football Championship. WAPDA By the next year he had joined WAPDA of the Pakistan Premier League. Loan to Abu Muslim On 20 December 2023, Dost was approached by Afghanistan Champions League club Abu Muslim FC to sign a one-season deal. On 28 December, he finalised his move to the club. Nushki
Nushki (Balochi and Brahvi: or Noshkay, Nushkay; ) is a city in Nushki District of Balochistan, Pakistan. It lies in the southwest of Quetta, the provincial capital, at an elevation of above sea level. From Nushki, the flat Balochistan desert stretches northward and westward to the Helmand River. 2023–24 PFF National Challenge Cup
The 2023–2024 PFF National Challenge Cup was the 30th edition of domestic football cup competition in Pakistan. The cup competition, which ran from 24 January 2023 until 12 May 2024, featured 27 departmental teams from across the country vying for the title, which was defended by the 2020 champions WAPDA. Initially scheduled to be held throughout 2023, the second phase was held in May 2024 after almost 15 months of inactivity. Background The tournament took place after a gap of nearly three-and-a-half years because of the Pakistan Football Federation's suspension by FIFA due to a power struggle within the Pakistan Football Federation. The PFF National Challenge Cup is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic Pakistani football within the Pakistan football league system.
