The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) is the national governing body of association football in Football in Pakistan, Pakistan. FIFA House Lahore
FIFA House, Lahore is looking after the sports of Football in Pakistan and provides guidance on international football standards. The main purpose of the FIFA House is to educate coaches, referees, women's football, beach soccer, and administrative and medical matters. History The year 2004 saw changes in Pakistan football, with a new administration in place. The FIFA House was consequently built through FIFA GOAL Project in Ferozepur Road in Lahore. It replaced the Lyari Football House in Lyari which was built in 1976 by former PFF president Abdul Sattar Gabol. Indian Football Association
The Indian Football Association, abbreviated as IFA, is the organisation that administers football in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is the oldest football association in India and was founded in 1893. Among the founders was former English international Elphinstone Jackson. Quaid-e-Azam International Cup
The Quaid-e-Azam International Cup was an annual football tournament held in Pakistan. The tournament was established to commemorate the centenary of the birth of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the first leader of Pakistan, known as ''Quaid-e-Azam'' (Great Leader). It was last played in 1987, and a total of five editions were played starting from 1976. The tournament was played with a round robin format in 1976, 1982 and 1986, while the other two editions in 1985 and 1987, were played in a double group format. Karachi Football League
The Karachi Football League is a city based football league held in Karachi, in Pakistan's Sindh province. History On a few known occasions, city league championships were played in Pakistan stretching back to 1937 before the independence of Pakistan, including in Karachi. In the 1990s, a departmental team based ''K-League'' was organised Hassan Musa of PIA. In 2003, a revamped edition of the league was held again a year before the foundation of the top tier Pakistan Premier League, this time organised by Karachi United and sponsored by KASB Bank as the ''KASB Premier League''. Geo Super Football League
The Geo Super Football League or SFL was the first professional inter-city football league of Pakistan, with support of the Pakistan Football Federation. It was established in 2007 and telecasted live via GEO Super. The SFL ran separate to the Pakistan Premier League. The league did not continue because the organisers and sponsors reportedly did not want to work with the Pakistan Football Federation again. In the first two seasons all matches were played in Karachi's Peoples Football Stadium. PFF League
The Pakistan Football Federation League B Division (; abbreviated: PFFL) is a Pakistani professional league for men's football departments and clubs which are in the Pakistan football league system, and is the country's second-tier competition. Contested by 18 departments and clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the top-tier Pakistan Premier League. Each season, the two top-finishing teams from the PFFL's club phase and the departmental phase are automatically promoted to the Pakistan Premier League, and the winner of the final between club phase and departmental phase is crowned the PFF League champion. The Pakistan Premier League (PPL; ) is a Pakistani semi-professional league for men's football clubs. The top tier of the Pakistan football league system, the PPL operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the PFFL B Division. The league has remained inactive since the end of the 2014–15 season. National Football Championship (Pakistan)
The National Football Championship alternatively spelled National Soccer Championship was the men's highest level football competition from 1948 to 2003. Founded by the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) in 1948, it was mainly held on knock-out basis. It was eventually replaced by the Pakistan Premier League from the 2004–05 season in order to professionalize the sport in Pakistan. Until 1971, it was run in parallel with the Dhaka League in East Pakistan. The National Football League era though saw Karachi based Pakistan Airlines with most championships, winning the competition nine times.
