Shanghai Metro AC16
The 11A01 (formerly known as AC16) is a model of rolling stock operated on Line 11 of Shanghai Metro. They are manufactured by CSR Zhuzhou Locomotives. A total of 396 cars (66 sets) were built. In 2014, AC16s were renamed as 11A01s. Overview The livery of AC16 trains are inspired by "Formula One" and " Yulan magnolia", with white and brown. This design was also used in subsequent rolling stocks of Line 11 – 11A02s and 11A03s. AC16 cars' passenger information system only featured LED scrolling displays to show the next station and the terminal station. Disney-themed livery Since 16 June 2016, some of 11A01 trains added Disney liveries, featured Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy, and Enchanted Storybook Castle, the landmark of Shanghai Disneyland. The 01A01 and the 01A02 (formerly known as DC01) are current rolling stocks used on the Line 1 of Shanghai Metro. They are built by AEG and CSR Zhuzhou Locomotive, with first delivery on 30 October 1992. These cars are numbered 92011–92241, 93011-93481, 94011-94241, 014352-014643, 14652 and 14663 (set 101–116). Before the delivery of AC02 and AC03, DC01 trains were also assigned to the services of Line 2 and Line 3. Features DC01 trains have livery in red and white. 01A01s' door indicators are LEDs instead of halogen lamps. The five-color indicators and grid lampshades are retained after expansion. Enchanted Storybook Castle
Enchanted Storybook Castle is the centerpiece castle in Shanghai Disneyland. Opening on June 16, 2016, it replaced Walt Disney World’s Cinderella Castle as the tallest castle in all of the related Disney theme parks. The look of Enchanted Storybook Castle was inspired by many other Disney castles, including Cinderella Castle and Sleeping Beauty Castle. Similarly to the Castle of Magical Dreams in Hong Kong Disneyland, it represents all of the Disney princesses. Features include a walkthrough attraction, a Disney character-dining restaurant, and a boat-themed attraction.
