Shangdi Subdistrict
Shangdi Subdistrict () is a subdistrict situated in the northeast of Haidian District, Beijing, China. It shares border with Xibeiwan Town in its north, Qinghe Subdistrict in its east, Qinglongqiao Subdistrict in its south, and Malianwa Subdistrict in its west. In the year 2020, Its population was 67,139. The subdistrict was created in 2000. Its name Shangdi () is referring to its elevated landscape compared to its surrounding area. This is a list of township-level divisions of the municipality of Beijing, People's Republic of China (PRC). After province, prefecture, and county-level divisions, township-level divisions constitute the formal fourth-level administrative divisions of the PRC. Malianwa Subdistrict
Malianwa Subdistrict () is a subdistrict situated on northeastern Haidian District, Beijing, China. It shares border with Xibeiwan Town in the north and west, Shangdi Subdistrict in the east, Qinglongqiao Subdistrict in the south, and contains two exclaves of Qinglongqiao Subdistrict. In 2020 its population was 119,022. Originally this region was known was Malanwa () for its low-lying landscape and abundance of Kalimeris indica. Over time the name was corrupted to Malianwa. Qinglongqiao Subdistrict (), is a subdistrict of Haidian District, Beijing. and is located immediately north of the Summer Palace. The subdistrict shares border with Malianwa and Shangdi Subdistricts in the north, Dongsheng Town and Qinghuayuan Subdistrict in the east, Wanliu Area and Sijiqing Town to the south, Xiangshan Subdistrict and Xibeiwan Town to the west.
