Shabnaz (born 1973 Sabrina Tania) is a retired Bangladeshi film actress. She won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actress for her role in the film '' Nirmom'' (1996). Shabnaz debuted her acting career in the film ''Chandni'', directed by Ehtesham in 1991. Personal life Shabnaz married her co-artist, Nayeem, on 4 October 1994. They have two daughters. They reside in Tangail. Khawaja Naim Murad (born May 8, 1970) better known as Naim or Nayeem is a Bangladeshi film actor, film producer and television director. He is referred to as "Notun projonmer ogrudud" meaning pioneer of the new generation by the media in recognition of his role in ushering in a new age of youth actors in Bangladeshi cinema in the 1990s. Naim made his acting debut alongside his wife, then-co-star film actress Sabreena Taniya Shabnaz Naim, popularly known as Shabnaz, in Ehtesham's ''Chandni'' (1991) (The Moon Ray). He acted over 21 films with Shabnaz. ''Premer Somadhi'' is a 1996 Bengali-language Bangladeshi romantic drama film. The story, screenplay, and dialogues were written by Delwar Jahan Jhantu and directed by Iftekhar Jahan. It was produced by Ataur Rahman Tunu under the banner of Bashundhara Films. It stars Bapparaj, Shabnaz, and Amit Hasan in the lead roles. It was unofficially remade in Tollywood in 1997 as '' Bakul Priya.'' The film, which was released in theaters on July 26, 1996, deals with themes of love, separation, relationships, and social conflict. The film was a huge box office success that year. Ehtesham
Ehtesham ur Rahman (1927 – 17 February 2002), known as Captain Ehtesham, was a Bangladeshi and Pakistani film director. On his death in 2002 he was described as a pioneer of the film industry in Dhaka, and one of Bangladesh's leading directors. Birth and early life Ehtesham was born in Dhaka on 12 October 1927. His father, Mohammad Yusuf, was a professor at Islamia College and his mother, Mosammat Kaniz Fatema, was a house wife. Career Ehtesham first became a film cinema distributor in 1950. He was credited with the discovery of many noted actors. In 1956 he began his first film, '' Ei Desh Tomar Amar'' ("This country is yours and mine"), which marked the first film acting appearance for both Subhash Dutta and Shabnam.
