Severed Survival
''Severed Survival'' is the debut album by American death metal band Autopsy, released by Peaceville Records in 1989. Background and release Cutler said the album's tracks were composed by " ettingreally stoned and playing guitar." Recording for the album began after Coralles had been in the band for approximately seven days. Although Peaceville Records allotted the band a USD$5,000 budget to produce the album, they "spent half of it on weed." The remaining funds gave the band four days to complete the album, and it was finished with very few overdubs. At the time, the band did not disclose to their label that they had used their funds to buy marijuana. Although the album's bass guitar tracks were performed by Steve DiGiorgio of Sadus, Ken Sorvali is credited as having performed bass guitar on the album. Autopsy is an American death metal band formed in Contra Costa County, California, Contra Costa County, California, in 1987 by Chris Reifert and Eric Cutler. The group disbanded in 1995 and reunited in 2009. The band's hometown is in Concord, California. Witchfinder General (band)
Witchfinder General was an English heavy metal and doom metal band from Stourbridge. They were part of the new wave of British heavy metal and have been cited as a major influence on the doom metal genre. They were named after the 1968 British horror film '' Witchfinder General,'' itself based upon the infamous witchhunter known as Matthew Hopkins. The band's sound has been described as a "raw, post-Sabbath grind." Death was an American death metal band formed in Altamonte Springs, Florida, in 1983 by guitarist Chuck Schuldiner (who later became the band's sole vocalist), drummer/vocalist Kam Lee and guitarist Rick Rozz. Formed out of what would become the Florida death metal scene, Death is considered to be a pioneering band in death metal. The band's 1987 debut album, '' Scream Bloody Gore'', has been widely regarded as one of the first death metal records, alongside the first records from Possessed and Necrophagia. Death had a revolving lineup, with Schuldiner, aside from a European tour, being the sole consistent member. Doom metal is an extreme subgenre of heavy metal music that typically uses slower tempos, low-tuned guitars and a much "thicker" or "heavier" sound than other heavy metal genres.K. Riffs
A riff is a short, repeated motif or figure in the melody or accompaniment of a musical composition. Riffs are most often found in rock music, punk, heavy metal music, Latin, funk, and jazz, although classical music is also sometimes based on a riff, as in Ravel's Boléro. Danny Coralles
Daniel Coralles is one of the current guitarists in the band Autopsy and was co-founder with drummer Chris Reifert of Abscess. Autopsy is back again and have been so since 2009 which is currently producing new material and is actively playing selected venues throughout the world. Danny, prior to forming Abscess along with Reifert have been continuous bandmates then and now in Autopsy as well as collaborations with Frank "Killjoy" Pucci in the now defunct supergroup The Ravenous, and separate side projects, Eat My Fuk and Doomed. Master (American Band)
Master is an American death metal band led by Paul Speckmann. Originally formed in Chicago, the band later relocated to Uherské Hradiště, Czechia. History The group was originally formed by Speckmann in 1983 as Death Strike, after the demise of his earlier band, Warcry. In 1985, Speckmann renamed the band Master and obtained a record deal with Combat Records. An album was recorded but was shelved due to issues with the label. The recording sessions for the album were released in 2003 by Displeased Records as ''Unreleased 1985 Album''. In 1990, the band signed with the German label Nuclear Blast, which also had Speckmann's other group, Abomination, under contract. Master released their debut album, titled ''Master'', in 1990. Slayer
Slayer is an American thrash metal band from Huntington Park, California, formed in 1981 by guitarists Jeff Hanneman and Kerry King, drummer Dave Lombardo and bassist/vocalist Tom Araya.
