Show TV is a Turkish free-to-air national television channel, established in 1991 by Erol Aksoy, Dinç Bilgin, Haldun Simavi and Erol Simavi, owned by the Can Holding. History The channel replaces Cine5's now-defunct frequencies, and it was originally established by the Turkish businessmen Erol Aksoy and Haldun Simavi, and originally launched on March 1, 1991, when it commenced its test transmissions. A year later, the channel moved its headquarters to Istanbul, Turkey, and were at the same time starting its official broadcasts. Show TV extended its range of viewers by adding more channels like Show Max and Show Turk to its group. On 6 June 2013 the channel was reacquired by Ciner Media Group. 576i is a standard-definition television, standard-definition digital video mode, originally used for Digitization, digitizing 625 lines, 625 line Analog television, analogue television in most countries of the world where the utility frequency for electric power distribution is 50 Hz. Because of its close association with the legacy colour encoding systems, it is often referred to as PAL#PAL region, PAL, PAL/SECAM or SECAM when compared to its 60 Hz (typically, see PAL-M) NTSC-colour-encoded counterpart, 480i. Ferhat Göçer (born 11 May 1970) is a Turkish pop singer, songwriter and physician. Born to a family with Kurdish origin as the eldest son of his parents, Göçer was born in Birecik and raised in İzmit. At his parents' request, he started his education at the age of 4. In 1985 he graduated from İzmit High School. Written by Meral Okay and Yılmaz Şahin, it is based on the life of Ottoman Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent, the longest-reigning Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, and his wife Hürrem Sultan, a slave girl who became the first Ottoman Haseki Sultan. Volkan Konak (27 February 1967 – 31 March 2025) was a Turkish folk singer from the eastern Black Sea. His song "Cerrahpaşa" was a great success and his album, ''Mora'', released in 2006, was awarded a gold plaque by the Turkish recording producers association, MÜ-YAP. Early life Konak was born in 1967 in the village of Yeşilyurt in the Maçka district of Trabzon.
