Serhiy Vakulenko ( uk, Сергій Миколайович Вакуленко; born 7 September 1993) is a Ukrainian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Armenian Premier League club Pyunik. Career Vakulenko is a product of the UFK Kharkiv and FC Shakhtar youth sportive schools. Ararat-Armenia On 6 June 2022, Ararat-Armenia announced that Vakulenko's contract had expired and he would leave the club. Football Club Pyunik Yerevan ( hy, Ֆուտբոլային Ակումբ Փյունիկ Երևան, Futbolayin Akumb P’yunik Yerevan), commonly known as Pyunik (" Phoenix"), is an Armenian professional sports club based in the Kentron neighbourhood of Yerevan. Pyunik is mostly known for its professional football team which, since its creation in 1992, has always played in the Armenian Premier League, becoming the most successful team of Armenia in number of official titles, with 31 won to date. Commonwealth Of Independent States Cup
The Commonwealth of Independent States Cup (russian: Кубок чемпионов Содружества, Кубок Содружества, Кубок чемпионов содружества стран СНГ и Балтии) is a defunct annual regional association football tournament, recognized by FIFA. The tournament was initially established for football clubs of the former Soviet Union republics in 1993 (a year later since the collapse). On several occasions, some national football organizations of the former Soviet republics as well as individual clubs refused participation in the tournament for different reasons. Serhiy Ivanovych Kovalets ( uk, Сергій Іванович Ковалець; born 5 September 1968) is a Ukrainian former football midfielder and current manager of Inhulets Petrove. Playing career Kovalets played 10 matches for Ukraine between 1992 and 1994. Coaching career After he retired from playing football, Metalist Kharkiv head coach Myron Markevych invited Kovalets to work with him as an assistant coach in 2005. In 2008, Kovalets became the head coach of the newly promoted FC Lviv, who had an unsuccessful start in the Ukrainian Premier League. Kovalets failed to accomplish his task of keeping his team in the Premier League, which ended up losing to Illichivets in goal difference.
