Serhii Karpov ( uk, Сергій Іванович Карпов; born 1 May 1982) is a retired Ukrainian professional Association football, footballer who played as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper and current goalkeeping coach for FC Kudrivka, Kudrivka. Early life Serhii Karpov was born on 1 May 1982 in Oleksandriia, Ukraine. He began playing football at the age of seven with FC Krystal Oleksandriya, Krystal Oleksandriya. His first coaches Anatolii Akulich and Yevhenii Abramovich identified him as a goalkeeper. He continued training with Krystal until 2000. Club career Karpov signed his first professional contract with FC Oleksandriya, Polihraftekhnika Oleksandriya in 2001. Oleksandriia In 2004 Karpov joined FC Krystal Oleksandriia, MFC Oleksandriia. The 2008–09 Ukrainian First League is the eighteenth since its establishment. The Professional Football League (PFL) decreased the number of teams in the league. This season, there are 18 teams instead of 20 teams competing. Two of the teams were relegated from the 2007–08 Ukrainian Premier League and two were promoted from the 2007–08 Ukrainian Second League. FC Stal Kamianske ( uk, Сталь Кам'янське) was a professional Ukrainian football club based in Kamianske, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine. Illichivets-2 Mariupol is a defunct Ukraine, Ukrainian association football, football team. It was the reserve team of the Ukrainian First League club FC Illichivets Mariupol. The club competed in the Ukrainian Second League, Druha Liha football competition of Ukraine.
