2004–05 Ukrainian Second League
The 2004–05 Ukrainian Second League was the 14th season of 3rd level professional football in Ukraine. The competitions were divided into three groups according to geographical location in the country – A is western Ukraine, B is southern Ukraine and Crimea, and C is eastern Ukraine. Ukrainian Second League
The Ukrainian Second League (, ''Druha Liha'') is a professional football league in Ukraine which is part of the Professional Football League of Ukraine, a collective member of the Ukrainian Association of Football. As the third tier it was established in 1992 as the Transitional League and changed its name the next season. The league is lower than the Ukrainian First League (''Persha Liha'') and the lowest level of professional football competitions in the country. Since 1996 the league, after being merged with its lower tier (in 1992–1995 there was the Third League), consists of two main regions roughly north-west and south-east. The league's relegated teams lose their professional status and return to their regional associations. FC Oleksandriya
Football Club Oleksandriya (), commonly known as Oleksandriya, is a Ukrainian professional football club based in the city of Oleksandriya, Kirovohrad Oblast. Founded in 1990, the club plays in the Ukrainian Premier League. The year 1948 on the club's crest appeared after its merger with UkrAhroKom in 2014 and depicts football heritage of the club rather than the club's foundation. In 2014 the club changed ownership when the original owner Mykola Lavrenko sold it to Serhiy Kuzmenko, the owner of UkrAhroKom. Debuting in the 2016–17 UEFA Europa League in July 2016, the club became the first one from Kirovohrad Oblast to qualify for the European competitions and second after Kryvbas in Central Ukraine ( Right-bank). FC Chornomorets-2 Odesa is former football team that was the reserve team of the FC Chornomorets Odesa. It was created out of the ''Chornomorets'' reserves team that competed in the Soviet competition in 1992. It was dissolved in 2020. History The team was allowed to enter the professional level competition and participate in the First League. In its short history, it performed under par and was taken out of the professional level competitions by 1995. In 1999, it was reformed on the base of the defunct SC Odesa. Since the creation of the Youth and Reserves competition for the Ukrainian Premier League for 2004–05 season, the team left the Second League and entered the competition for the double teams. FC Borysfen Boryspil is a formerly professional Ukrainian football club from Boryspil, Ukraine. The club was created as a phoenix club in 1997 by Ihor Kovalevych after disagreement in FC CSKA Kyiv (today FC Arsenal Kyiv). The history of the club is controversial and its admission to professional competitions is dubious. In mid 1990s the original team of Zlobenko reached some agreement with the Central Sports Club of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (CSK ZSU) after which there was established a joint team "CSKA-Borysfen" that became the first successful debutant of the Ukrainian Vyshcha Liha (today Ukrainian Premier League) finishing among top 5 at the end of season. FC Krasyliv
FC Krasyliv was a Ukrainian football team that played in Krasyliv, Khmelnytskyi Oblast. History In 2000 a local company of Petro Arsenyuk bought out a local team and a stadium. The same year the team won the Khmelnytskyi Oblast football competitions in the regional second tier. The club entered the professional leagues in 2001 with help of former players Serhiy Kovalets and Ihor Khiblin (also a referee). The club was initially successful finishing in 3rd place in the Druha Liha Group "A". The same season they were crowned champions and were promoted to the Persha Liha for the 2002–03 season. FC Lviv () was a Ukrainian football club from the city of Lviv. It was initially founded in 1992. History The idea about a new city's club was initiated by a Ukrainian coach Mykhailo Vilkhovyi. The club was established in 1992 as an amateur team that won the Lviv Oblast Cup and the oblast second tier competitions. In 1993 the club entered the Ukrainian Transitional League and in two seasons progressed two tiers reaching the Ukrainian First League where it stayed until 2001. It was one of three teams that were admitted to the 1993–94 Ukrainian Transitional League and did not play in the previous 1992–93 Ukrainian Football Amateur League.
