''Septentrion'' is an album by Anodajay released on June 27, 2006 on his independently owned record label 7ième Ciel Records. The album is Anodajay's second studio album. ''"Le beat à Ti-Bi"'' won the ''Best French Video'' award at the Sounds of Blackness Awards in 2007. The same video was also a nominee for the '' Best French Video'' category at the MuchMusic Video Awards in 2007. Raôul Duguay
Raôul Duguay (born February 13, 1939) is a Canadian artist, poet, musician, and political activist in the province of Quebec, Canada. He has been an active performer since 1966. Duguay is a longtime supporter of the Quebec sovereignty movement and has run for public office on at least two occasions. Artist Duguay was born in Val-d'Or in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region of Quebec, an event that he later chronicled on the semi-autobiographical track "La bittt à Tibi" on his first album. He began writing poetry in the 1950s, and his first two anthologies were published in 1966 and 1967. He met Walter Boudreau in 1967, and the two artists formed L'Infonie shortly thereafter. This project was intended both as a music group and a new approach to collective improvisation; Duguay published its manifesto in 1970. Muzion were a Canadian rap group formed in 1996. The group is made up of rap artists of Haitian origin who lived in Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension in Montreal, including Dramatik, Imposs (real name Stanley Rimsky Salgado) and his sister J-Kyll. The iHeartRadio MMVAs were an annual awards show broadcast on Much to honour the year's best music videos that was last held in 2018. Originally debuting in 1990 as the Canadian Music Video Awards, the awards were renamed in 1995 to the MuchMusic Video Awards, reflecting the original (1984–2013) "MuchMusic" name of the Much channel. In 2016, the show was rebranded under the iHeartRadio banner after Much's parent company, Bell Media, reached a licensing agreement with iHeartMedia. In 2018, the show's full name was officially dropped. In 2019, six years after changing the name of MuchMusic to Much, and having reduced its music video programming to just one hour daily (''Much Retro Lunch''), the ceremony was not held, citing supposed scheduling conflicts with other events occurring in Toronto. Much (an abbreviation for its full name MuchMusic) is a Canadian English language specialty channel owned by BCE Inc. through its Bell Media subsidiary that airs programming aimed at teenagers and young adults. Sounds of Blackness Award also known as S.O.B.A. or SOBA is an annual Canadian awards in hip hop and urban music in Quebec and Canada. SOBA was established by Ruddy B. Eloi, well-known from a French-language Quebec television series ''Watatatow''. He wanted to create a platform to reward artists hailing mainly from the black community of Quebec and Canada, without restricting it to just black-Canadians but open to all urban artists. Rapping (also rhyming, spitting, emceeing or MCing) is a musical form of vocal delivery that incorporates "rhyme, rhythmic speech, and street vernacular".
