Sennur Sezer
Sennur Sezer (12 June 1943, Eskişehir – 7 October 2015, İstanbul) was a Turkish poet and documentary writer. Her real name is Sennur Fatma Çelik. Her first poem was published in 1958 and her first book ''Gecekondu'' in 1964. She wrote many screenplays, especially for Turkish cinema under her real name as well as under a pseudonym and contributed to the writing of various encyclopedias and anthologies. As one of the founding members of the Labour party she supported all kinds of actions by women, workers and other groups of people seeking their rights and supported the actions taken by them such as strikes. She is the spouse of writer Adnan Özyalçıner whom she married in 1967. Life She was born on 12 June 1943 in Eskişehir. Eskişehir ( , ; from "old" and "city") is a city in northwestern Turkey and the capital of the Eskişehir Province. Muzaffer Tema
Muzaffer Tema (June 15, 1919 – October 4, 2011) was a Turkish movie actor. He was born on June 15, 1919 in Istanbul. Following his education in flute, violin and piano playing at the Istanbul Municipality Conservatory, he served as a musician at the Ankara State Conservatory and the Presidency Philharmonic Orchestra. In 1949, Muzaffer debuted in acting in the movie ''Çığlık''. He became popular in the Turkish cinema during the 1950s. To try his luck in Hollywood, he divorced and went in 1956 to the USA, where he played in two movies, ''A Certain Smile'' (1958) (''Acı Tebessüm'') and ''Twelve to the Moon'' (1960) (''Aya Giden 12 Adam''). He was also married to Zisan Tema and became so the first ever Turkish actor to play in a Hollywood movie. After two and half years, he returned home due to his father's illness. Turkish Women Writers
Turkish women writers refers to Turkish women contributors to Turkish literature. The area is parallel to Women's writing in English. Pioneers During the Ottoman era, there were only a few woman poets and novelists. Professor Nazan Bekiroğlu gives the priority to two woman poets; Zeynep Hatun and Mihri Hatun who lived in the 15th century. But probably the best known woman poet was Fitnat Hanım of the 18th century. The first Ottoman novelists were Zafer Hanım who was the first author of a novel published in 1877 and Fatma Aliye who is considered by many as the first Turkish female novelist. Tanju Gürsu (30 October 1938 – 7 June 2016) was a Turkish actor, director and screenwriter, who was a major star of Turkish cinema in the 1960s and 1970s. He appeared in films such as ''Haremde Dört Kadın'' (1965) and '' Üç Korkusuz Arkadaş'' (1966) under director Halit Refiğ.
