Schönbrunn Palace (Austrian German, German: Schloss Schönbrunn ) was the main summer residence of the House of Habsburg, Habsburg rulers, located in Hietzing, the 13th district of Vienna. The name ''Schönbrunn'' (meaning "beautiful spring") has its roots in an artesian well from which water was consumed by the court. The 1,441-room Baroque architecture, Baroque palace is one of the most important architectural, cultural, and historic monuments in the country. The history of the palace and its vast gardens spans over 300 years, reflecting the changing tastes, interests, and aspirations of successive Habsburg monarchs. It has been a major tourist attraction since the mid-1950s. Schönbrunn (; ) is a municipality in the Rhein-Neckar district, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It consists of the villages Allemühl, Haag, Moosbrunn, Schönbrunn and Schwanheim. It is situated in the southern part of the Odenwald hills, south of the river Neckar. Schönbrunn lies about 7 km southwest of Eberbach and 18 km east of Heidelberg. Schönbrunn () is a village in the heart of the Fichtel Mountains in Bavaria, Germany. Since 1975 it is part of the town Wunsiedel. It has about 1,400 inhabitants, including the village Furthammer. Floß is a market town in the Upper Palatinate district of Neustadt an der Waldnaab and has a history of more than 1000 years. Geography Geographical location The town of Floß is situated on both sides of the Floß (river), Floß river, in a valley approximately 13 kilometers west of the Czech Republic–Germany border, German-Czech border.
