Schizm
''Schizm: Mysterious Journey'' is an adventure-genre computer game created by Detalion and LK Avalon and published by DreamCatcher Games. Its script was co-authored by Australian science fiction writer Terry Dowling and Polish science fiction writer Tomasz Kołodziejczak. Within a year of release, its sales had surpassed 250,000 units worldwide. A major distinguishing feature of ''Schizm'' is that the player can switch control between the two characters at any time. There are puzzles which require both characters to be performing actions at the same time before they can be solved. A sequel, ''Mysterious Journey II'' (also known as ''Schizm II: Chameleon''), was released. It was also authored by Terry Dowling. Story Sam and Hannah are piloting a spaceship carrying supplies to a scientific expedition on the planet Argilus. Detalion
Detalion S.C, was a Polish video game developer founded by a partnership of six people, that first met in the early 1990s (Maciej Miąsik, Robert Ożóg, Łukasz Pisarek, Krzysztof Bar, Roland Pantoła & Danuta Sienkowska), working from game developer and publisher LK Avalon. These games (particularly ''Mysterious Journey: Schizm'') were noted for the complexity and great difficulty of their puzzles, and also were hailed as having some of the best graphics in the industry at the time. Detalion was one of the first developers to use the DVD-ROM disc as an effective medium for software distribution. Mysterious Journey II
''Mysterious Journey II'', also known as ''Schizm II: Chameleon'', is an adventure game developed by Detalion, published by The Adventure Company, powered by Lithtech: Jupiter, and the sequel to '' Schizm: Mysterious Journey''. Like the earlier game, the plotline was authored by acclaimed Australian science fiction writer Terry Dowling. While ''Schizm'' utilized 360 degree panoramas, ''Mysterious Journey II'' uses a first-person shooter interface. Story The game begins on a derelict space station. Terence William (Terry) Dowling (born 21 March 1947), is an Australian writer and journalist.
