Savaş Ay (26 March 1954 – 9 November 2013) was a Turkish newspaper and television journalist, director, screenwriter, producer, photographer, and actor best known for his panel discussion television series ''A Takımı'' (The A-Team). Savaş Ay was born on 26 March 1954 in Gaziantep to actor Turan Ay and his wife actress Şükran. After graduating from Marmara Academy of Commerce, he began a journalism career in 1974 at the business and economics daily ''Dünya''. He later was with the newspapers '' Tercüman'', '' Vatan'', ''Milliyet'', ''Sabah'' and the news agency Akajans. Lütfü Savaş (born 23 March 1965, Yayladağı) is a Turkish politician, doctor and former mayor of Hatay Province of Turkey. Early life and education Savaş was born in the Dağdüzü village in the Yayladağı district of the province of Hatay. He is of Turkmen origin and has Syrian Turkmen relatives in Syria. Siyâvash (), also spelled Siyâvoš or Siavash (), is a major figure in the ''Shahnameh''. He is introduced by Ferdowsi as the son of Kay Kāvus, who reigns as Shah in the earliest days of Greater Iran for over a century. His name means "the one with black stallions" after his horse Shabrang Behzād (, ), who accompanies him during a trial of righteousness. Savaş Buldan (6 May 1964 – 3 June 1994) was a Kurdish businessman in Turkey. He was arrested by Turkish security forces and was found dead on 4 June 1994. Life Savaş Buldan was born in Yüksekova on 6 May 1964 to Şükrü Buldan (father). His brother, Nejdet Buldan, is one of the former mayors of Yüksekova for the now defunct Democracy Party. Hakan Savaş Mican (born 1978) is a German-Turkish filmmaker, playwright and director. Biography Hakan Savaş Mican was born in Berlin in 1978 as the son of Turkish immigrants, but grew up with his grandmother in Turkey.
