Sarah Fullerton
Sarah Fullerton (born March 8, 1991) is a Canadian curler from Cornwall, Prince Edward Island. Career Junior career Sarah Fullerton has been a rising star on the curling scene in Prince Edward Island. In 2003, she captured the P.E.I 11 and under title. She would also win the 15 and under title in 2006, and between 2006 and 2009 she would capture the 17 and under title three times. In 2010, Fullerton represented Prince Edward Island at the 2010 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, where her team would finish with a 6–6 record. She would return in 2011 and finish with a 7–5 record. In her final year of junior play Fullerton and her team would once again, qualify to represent Prince Edward Island at the 2012 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. 2012-current Fullerton and her team entered their first year of women's play at the 2012 Prince Edward Island Scotties Tournament of Hearts. Charlottetown
Charlottetown is the capital and largest city of the Canadian province of Prince Edward Island, and the county seat of Queens County. Named after Queen Charlotte, Charlottetown was an unincorporated town until it was incorporated as a city in 1855. It was the site of the famous Charlottetown Conference in 1864, the first gathering of Canadian and Maritime statesmen to discuss the proposed Maritime Union. The 2012 Prince Edward Island Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Prince Edward Island's women's provincial curling championship, was held from January 20 to 23 at the Charlottetown Curling Club in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. The winning team of Kim Dolan represented Prince Edward Island at the 2012 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Red Deer, Alberta, where her team finished with a 3-8 record. Robyn MacPhee
Robyn MacPhee (born August 11, 1983 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, also known as Robyn Green) is a Canadian curler. Curling career MacPhee played for Prince Edward Island at the 1999 Canada Games, finishing 12th. MacPhee played both second and third for Suzanne Birt (née Gaudet) during their junior careers. Playing second for the team, she won the 2001 Canadian Junior Curling Championships and a gold at the 2001 World Junior Curling Championships. At the 2002 Canadian Juniors, MacPhee played third for the team, and they won another Canadian Junior championship and a bronze at the World Junior Championships. After juniors, MacPhee remained on Birt's team, and would play second once again. The team won the provincial women's title in 2003 and would lose in the semi-final at the 2003 Scott Tournament of Hearts. Suzanne Birt
Suzanne Birt (born Suzanne Gaudet on October 2, 1981 in Summerside, Prince Edward Island) is a Canadian curler from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. She currently skips her own team on the World Curling Tour. Career Juniors Birt, a skip, is a two-time Canadian Junior Champion (2001, 2002) and a former World Junior Curling Champion (2001). She also won a silver medal at the 1995 Canada Games. Birt had attended the 1998, 1999, and 2000 Canadian Juniors before finally winning it. At the 2001 World Juniors, she defeated Matilda Mattsson's Swedish rink for the gold. The following year she would win the bronze. 2003–2011 In 2003, Birt qualified for the Scotties Tournament of Hearts for the first time. Her team had an impressive tournament, going 10–1 in the round-robin, only to lose both their playoff games. Kim Dolan
Kim Dolan (born Kim McLeod, April 12, 1958, in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island) is a Canadian curler. Career 1983–1999 Kim Dolan first made a national appearance on the curling scene in 1983. She won her first provincial championship and represented Prince Edward Island at the 1983 Scott Tournament of Hearts. Her team won four games and finished with a 4–6 round robin record. She returned in 1985 where she finished with the same 4–6 record. In 1987 Dolan made her third appearance at the Scott; however, this time she finished with a 1–10 record. A fourth Scott appearance for Dolan came in 1990. Her team performed better this time around; however finished with a 4–7 record. Returning to the Scott again in 1992, Dolan and team finished round robin with a 4–7 record. Dolan once again returned to the Scott in 1995; this time she played third for Rebecca Jean MacPhee. 2012 Canadian Junior Curling Championships
The 2012 M&M Meat Shops Canadian Junior Curling Championships were held from February 4 to 12 at the Strathcona Paper Centre and the Napanee & District Curling Club in Napanee, Ontario. The winners, the Albertan teams skipped by Brendan Bottcher and Jocelyn Peterman, represented Canada at the 2012 World Junior Curling Championships in Östersund, Sweden. In the women's final, Alberta's Peterman led her team to a win over Manitoba's Shannon Birchard in nine ends, winning with a score of 12–6 after a decisive shot in the fourth end and a critical steal in the fifth end gave Alberta a large lead. The men's final saw Alberta's Brendan Bottcher sealing off the game against Northern Ontario's Brennan Wark in the last end with two points, making the final score 9–6 and completing an Alberta sweep of the Canadian Juniors. Prince Edward Island
Prince Edward Island (PEI; ) is one of the thirteen provinces and territories of Canada. It is the smallest province in terms of land area and population, but the most densely populated.
