Sandboxie Plus
Sandboxie Plus (formerly Sandboxie) is an open-source OS-level virtualization solution for Microsoft Windows. It started out as a sandboxing solution that creates an isolated operating environment in which applications can run without permanently modifying the local system. This virtual environment allows for controlled testing of untrusted programs and web surfing. Sandboxie Plus enhances the original Sandboxie by adding multiple sandboxes, per-sandbox snapshots, and full OS-level virtualization. After various ownership transitions (Sophos acquired Invincea which acquired Sandboxie from the original author, Ronen Tzur), Sophos eventually dropped support and released it as open-source. ''Dusk'' (stylized in all caps) is a 2018 retro-styled first-person shooter created by American developer David Szymanski and published by New Blood Interactive for Microsoft Windows, macOS, Linux, and Nintendo Switch. Application virtualization is a software technology that encapsulates computer programs from the underlying operating system on which they are executed. This is usually a result of the system failing to function because of an unplanned event, or because of routine maintenance (a planned event). The term is commonly applied to networks and servers.
