Sanda, Lahore
Sanda () is a residential town in Lahore District, Punjab, Pakistan, near the bank of the river Ravi River, Ravi and the Islampura (formerly Krishan Nagar, Kirshan Nagar) neighborhood. Now old Sanda (Union Council 66) is divided into Sanda Kalan (Union Council 71) and Sanda Khurd (Union Council 74). This town has a history dating back to late 17th century when local landlord Malik Sadar-ud-din laid the foundation of Sanda Kalan along the Ravi bank. His son Omer Din, his grandson Darogha Abdur Rahim, his great grandson Mian Din Muhammad and his great great grandson Mian Bashir and lastly his great great great grandson Haji Ashraf had substantial land holdings in Sanda along with the haveli’s known as Bashir Lodge and Taj Manzil. Sanda Mamić (born 22 March 1985) is a retired female tennis player and current full-time gaming streamer on Twitch from Croatia. ''Saara hardwickii'', commonly known as Hardwicke's spiny-tailed lizard or the Indian spiny-tailed lizard is a species of lizard in the Family (biology), family Agamidae. The species is found in patches across the Thar Desert, Kutch, and surrounding arid zones in India and Pakistan. It is mainly herbivorous and lives in numbers in some areas. Since it is found in loose clusters it often attracts predators such as raptors. It is also hunted by local peoples in the belief that the fat extracted from it is an aphrodisiac. ''Sanda'' (stylized in all caps) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Paru Itagaki. It was serialized in Akita Shoten's manga magazine ''Weekly Shōnen Champion'' from July 2021 to July 2024, with its chapters collected in 16 volumes. An anime television series adaptation produced by Science Saru is set to premiere in October 2025. The story takes place in the future, where the birth rate in Japan has been rapidly declining. The main character, Kazushige Sanda, is found to be the descendant of Santa Claus by his classmate, Shiori Fuyumura. Together, they attempt to find Fuyumura's missing classmate, Ono Ichie. is a 1966 ''kaiju'' film directed by Ishirō Honda, with special effects by Eiji Tsuburaya. Referred by film historian Stuart Galbraith IV as a "quasi–sequel" to '' Frankenstein vs. Baragon'', the film was a Japanese-American co-production; it was the third and final collaboration between Toho Co., Ltd and Henry G. Alhaji (Dr) Umaru Sanda Ndayako (CFR, OFR), (1937 – 8 September, 2003) was the 12th Etsu Nupe from one of the ruling houses of Bida. Sanda Toma (later Urichianu, born 24 February 1956) is a retired Romanian rower. Competing in single sculls she won the world title in 1979 and 1981 and an Olympic gold medal in 1980. Sanda Stolojan, née Henriette Lucia Sanda Zamfirescu (19 February 1919, Bucharest – 2 August 2005, Paris) was a Romanian poet, translator and writer. She was a dissident and prominent figure of the Romanian anticommunist exile. Life Born and raised in a family of intellectuals and diplomats, she received an elite education in Romania and other European countries. After finishing high school in Paris in 1937, she signed up for studies at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Bucharest. In 1943, she married Vlad Stolojan Filipescu and they attempted to leave communist Romania in 1949, but were arrested and sent imprisoned for the crime of preparation for illegal emigration. In following years, both were convicted of further crimes, eventually losing their home to the authorities.
