Sanal George
Sanal George is an Indian people, Indian sound designer and production sound mixer who is based in Mumbai. He is the recipient of the 65th National Film Awards, 65th National Film Award of India for National Film Award for Best Audiography, Best Sound Design for the feature film ''Walking with the Wind''. He was also awarded the Asian Film Academy fellowship in 2013 as part of the Busan International Film Festival, Busan, Busan, South Korea. Sanal was awarded the Kerala State Television Award 2016 for the Malayalam language, Malayalam short film ''Chaver''. Resul Pookutty (born 30 May 1971) is an Indian film sound designer, sound editor and audio mixer. He won the Academy Award for Best Sound Mixing, along with Richard Pryke and Ian Tapp, for ''Slumdog Millionaire''. Pookutty has worked in Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages in addition to British films. Early life Born into a family in Vilakkupara, near Anchal about 40 km from Kollam, Kerala, India. He was the youngest of eight children. His father was a private bus ticket checker. Pookutty had to walk 6 km to the nearest school and study in the light of a kerosene lamp as his village had no electricity. ''Sheeshmahal'' is a 2024 Indian anthology film, based on India's International Children's Film Festival, and directed by Camp Sasi. The film is jointly produced by Million Dreams Creations and Avanti Chitranaalayam.
