National Lacrosse League
The National Lacrosse League (NLL) is a professional box lacrosse league in North America. The league comprises 14 teams8 in the United States and 6 in Canada. The NLL is headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The NLL ranks third in average attendance for pro indoor sports worldwide, behind only the National Hockey League (NHL) and National Basketball Association (NBA). Cam Woods
Cam Woods (born April 27, 1976 in Montreal, Quebec) is a former professional lacrosse player for the Toronto Rock and current assistant coach and defensive coordinator for the San Diego Seals of the National Lacrosse League. Woods tied with Taylor Wray for the Defensive Player of the Year Award in 2004, and was a 4 time all star (2002, 2004, 2007, 2009). Woods was named as the captain in his second season with the Albany Attack and then served as team captain for the next 7 seasons (3 Albany, 3 San Jose, 1 Chicago) before being traded to the Rock. Jordan Rhys Hall (born August 31, 1984) is a Canadian box lacrosse player who plays for the Rochester Knighthawks of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) and the Hamilton Nationals of Major League Lacrosse (MLL). College career Hall attended University of Delaware, where he played alongside Alex Smith to help the Blue Hens reach the 2007 NCAA Division I Men's Final Four. In 2006, he was named Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Year. Professional career Hall was selected in the first round (first overall) by the New York Titans of the National Lacrosse League in the 2007 NLL Entry Draft. Trevor Baptiste (born July 3, 1996) is an American professional lacrosse player who plays as a face-off specialist for the New York Atlas of the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) and the San Diego Seals of the National Lacrosse League (NLL). Wesley Berg (born April 19, 1993 in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada) is a Canadian professional lacrosse player for the San Diego Seals of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) and the California Redwoods of the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL), serving as captain for the former. Junior and Major Berg began his amateur career with the Coquitlam Adanacs Jr. A of the BC Junior A Lacrosse League in 2010. In his first season with the Adanacs, Berg finished with 42 points. Ryan Benesch
Ryan Benesch (born January 30, 1985) is a Canadian professional box lacrosse player who plays for the San Diego Seals of the National Lacrosse League (NLL). Benesch has also played for the Halifax Thunderbirds, Albany FireWolves, Colorado Mammoth, Buffalo Bandits, Minnesota Swarm, Edmonton Rush, Toronto Rock, and Panther City LC and was the 2011 NLL scoring leader.
