Cam Woods
Cam Woods (born April 27, 1976 in Montreal, Quebec) is a professional lacrosse player for the Toronto Rock of the National Lacrosse League. Woods tied with Taylor Wray for the Defensive Player of the Year Award in 2004, and was a 4 time all star (2002, 2004, 2007, 2009). Woods was named as the captain in his second season with the Albany Attack and then served as team captain for the next 7 seasons (3 Albany, 3 San Jose, 1 Chicago) before being traded to the Rock. Woods won his first NLL champions cup in 2011 with the Toronto Rock, to go along with his 2 Mann cups (2000 Brooklin Redmen, 2008 Brampton Excelsiors). Toronto Rock
The Toronto Rock are a professional box lacrosse franchise based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. They are members of the North Division of the National Lacrosse League (NLL). The team was the first Canadian franchise in the NLL. Oakville resident Jamie Dawick is the current owner of the Rock, purchasing the team after the 2009 season. Since 2014, Dawick has also served as their general manager. The Rock play their home games at FirstOntario Centre which they currently share with the Hamilton Bulldogs of the OHL. The franchise was founded in 1998 as the Ontario Raiders in Hamilton. The Raiders played at Copps Coliseum before being sold to a group of investors led by then Toronto Maple Leafs Assistant GM Bill Watters, who relocated the franchise to Toronto. Jim Moss
Jim Moss (born March 3, 1977 in Toronto, Ontario) is a former professional lacrosse player. Moss was named the National Lacrosse League's Defensive Player of the Year in 2003. Entered into the Brampton Sports Hall of Fame in 2007 as well as the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame as a member of Team Canada in 2007. Moss represented Team Canada in three sports (Ice Hockey, Field Lacrosse, Indoor Lacrosse) winning gold, silver, and bronze medals in international competition and is a winner of Canada's historic Mann Cup. Andrew Turner (born January 11, 1978) is a lacrosse player for the Edmonton Rush in the National Lacrosse League. He plays for the Victoria Shamrocks in the Western Lacrosse Association during the summer. He has been named Best Defensive Player three times in 2001, 2003, and in 2005.
