Sam Wainwright
Sam Wainwright (born 7 May 1998) is a Welsh rugby union player who plays as a prop for United Rugby Championship club the Scarlets. He is a Wales international, and has also appeared for the U20 team. Club career Wainwright began his career at local club Rhyl and District RFC before joining the North Wales regional side RGC 1404. He was signed by Saracens in May 2019, and made his debut against Wasps in the Premiership Rugby Cup on 21 September 2019. On 18 November 2022, Wainwright joined the Scarlets on a short term contract, until the end of the 2022–2023 season. International career Wainwright represented Wales U20. He received his first call-up to the senior Wales side in June 2022, when he was added to the squad for the summer tour to South Africa in place of the injured Leon Brown. Bodelwyddan
Bodelwyddan () is a village, electoral ward and community in Denbighshire, Wales, approximately 5 miles (8 km) South of Rhyl. The Parish includes several smaller hamlets such as Marli and Pengwern. Bodelwyddan is home to over sixty listed buildings including notable locations such as the Marble Church and Bodelwyddan Castle. The population of only 2,106, increasing to 2,147 at the 2011 census, is served by a single public house, a small number of shops, two takeaways (a Chinese takeaway called The Lucky Garden and the fish and chips shop ‘Church View Chippy’), a primary school and a driving range; as well as having its own Community Centre. Coleg Llandrillo (English meaning: Llandrillo College) is a college in the north of Wales. After its merger in 2012, Grwp Llandrillo Menai became Wales' largest further education institution. History The college (which originally only included the main campus at Rhos-on-Sea) was opened as Llandrillo Technical College by Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, on 23 June 1965. The word "Technical" was removed from the name of the college in response to the college's shift towards teaching academic as well as vocational subjects. The name Coleg Llandrillo Cymru was adopted around 2002 and was intended to imply that the College is for the whole of Wales. Leon Brown (rugby Union)
Leon Michael Brown (born 26 October 1996) is a Welsh international rugby union player who plays for the Dragons regional team as a prop forward having previously played for Cross Keys RFC. Club career Brown began playing rugby for St Joseph's youth side, before attending St Joseph's Roman Catholic High School and Newport High School. Brown was involved with the Dragons Academy, first appearing for the U16 side as a replacement against the Ospreys in 2012. While playing for feeder club Cross Keys, Brown was named Player of the Month for October 2015. Prior to making his first team debut, Brown played for the Dragons Premiership Select team in the British and Irish Cup. On 12 November 2016, Brown made his debut for the Dragons, coming on as a replacement against Leicester Tigers in the Anglo-Welsh Cup.
